C. Concerto
Are you between the ages of 12 and 28? The IPM 2024 Tbilisi Piano Concerto Competition is here to celebrate the talent and hard work of our IPM students.
How to Participate:
Register as an active participant in the IPM Tbilisi Festival.
Stick to the age requirements for your category.
Choose one of the three piano concertos from this year's repertoire to perform.
Get ready to compete with pianists from around the world for a chance to shine at the prestigious Gala Concert.
Application Process:
As part of your application, please submit YouTube video recordings. You have the option to perform either a Free Solo repertoire or the chosen Concerto with 2 pianos or with an orchestra.
Duration: Your video submission should be a minimum of 15 minutes in length.
Your videos will determine your acceptance to the IPM Tbilisi Festival and your eligibility for the competition.
Competition Details:
Preselected candidates will compete in one round with 2 pianos at the Tbilisi Conservatoire Recital Hall.
Each concerto category (A, B, C) will each have one Grand Prix winner.
The three Grand Prix winners will perform with the Giya Kancheli Tbilisi Youth Orchestra at the Closing Gala Concert on July 27th.

A. Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 3 in C minor, Op. 37
B. Chopin's Piano Concerto No. 2 in F minor, Op. 21
C. Rachmaninov's Piano Concerto No. 2 in C minor, Op. 18
Rules and Regulations:
By participating, you agree to follow all rules and regulations.
The Jury's decisions on prizes are final and cannot be appealed.

Prizes & Awards
Three Grand Prix Winners
There will be one Grand Prix winner for each Concerto category (Beethoven 3, Chopin 2, or Rachmaninov 2).
Each winner will have the exclusive opportunity to perform with the Giya Kancheli Tbilisi Youth Orchestra at the Gala Concert, which will take place on July ? at the Tbilisi State Conservatoire Grand Hall.
