IMPORTANT INFORMATION

  • Application opens: February 23rd, 2026. Application Deadline for Pre-College & College (including Application Fees): April 15th 2026

  • Accepted Applicant Results: May 1st, 2026

  • Registration & Course Fee per person: 1000$ (≈850 Euros)

  • Registration & Course Fee Payment Deadline: June 01st, 2026

  • Arrival in Tbilisi: June 30th 2026

  • Departure from Tbilisi: July 10th 2026

LOCATION: National Youth Palace, Z. Paliashvili Music School. Tbilisi, Georgia

LESSONS: Each student accepted into the IPM Tbilisi Festival program is entitled to five guaranteed lessons during the festival.However, due to the limited availability of each professor, IPM will organize the lessons according to the student's level and experience based on the materials submitted. Furthermore, they will have full access to all concerts, masterclasses, workshops, seminars, lectures, and discussions offered during the festival.

MASTERCLASSES: Some of the professors will give Masterclasses. The festival managers will decide how to allocate students for the masterclasses.

LECTURES - Q & A Session: Some of the professors will give a Lecture. The professors and students will also discuss different subjects, competitions, repertoire, practice, etc., in Q&A Sessions.

PRACTICE: A guaranteed daily practice room for 4 hours (minimum).

ACCOMMODATION/FLIGHT: Accommodation and transportation costs are at your own expense.

CERTIFICATE: All participants will receive an IPM certificate of participation upon completion of the program.

CONCERTS: During the course, many concerts, including Gala concerts, will be organised.

COMPETITIONS: IPM Tbilisi Festival Solo International Piano Competition (Cat. A, B) & IPM Tbilisi Festival Concerto International Piano Competition.

FESTIVAL's ORCHESTRA: Giya Kancheli Tbilisi Youth Orchestra.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE

  • Applicants wishing to participate at IPM Tbilisi Festival & Competition 2026 must complete and submit the Application Form.

    All application materials must be submitted electronically through the Application Form and must include the following:

    • A fully completed application form

    • A video recording (mandatory). All Details in our Competition section below

    Applications will be reviewed upon receipt. Applicants will receive an official email from IPM informing them of the outcome of their application by May 5th, together with detailed information and further instructions.

METHOD OF PAYMENT

  • Upon acceptance to the festival, participants will receive instructions on how to complete the payment by bank transfer or credit card. Any bank transfer fees are the responsibility of the participant.
